Growing Slowly but Surely with Tons of Exciting, Hard-To-Find Instruments on Order!!
We are growing this section as rapidly as possible by offering some very choice and frequently hard-to-find Left-Handed Acoustic Guitars.
The only problem we're encountering is that the demand for these guitars is so high that we are selling whatever comes in almost immediately and many are pre-sold on arrival. As problems go, we reckon that this is a pretty good problem to have, but it's also making it difficult to accumulate the broad selection we are striving for!
Be sure to note the "Lefty Upcharge" info for each listing. Whenever possible we try to support builders who do not charge additional fees or a percentage markup for their left-handed guitars. Many builders, however, do actually need to charge more due to economies of scale. The need to re-tool for relatively small instrument runs tends to raise the cost of building these guitars for smaller operations. In these instances we make sure that the upcharge is reasonable based on the added expense involved.
Check back often as this section will become more heavily populated throughout 2012.
Many of the guitars we have scheduled to arrive during the Winter of 2011-2012 were ordered several months ago, but take months to arrive once ordered. Please be patient as we build up this section and definitely drop us a line if there's a specific left-handed acoustic (or electric) guitar you've been trying to find!

Fat Sound's TakeOne of our favorites and a model near and dear to Fat Sound's owner who started playing guitar at age 5 while being tutored by his father whose prized guitar was a 1941 00-18 which he had purchased while in college at University of Virginia in the late 50's. The '41 is still in the family and is a treasured heirloom. Martin's Vintage recreation of the venerable 00-18 is spot on.
