Handmade in Chicago just like the original ACE straps, Souldier Straps represent a modern version of the Classic "Hootenanny" strap made famous by players such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Jimmy Page and Bob Dylan.
Many of the patterns are the same patterns worn in iconic photo's from the late 60's and early 70's such as Jimi at Woodstock and Monterey or Duane at The Fillmore.
Much of the material is NOS and is actually the exact same material used on the original Ace straps.
Upgraded hardware, soft leather ends and seatbelt webbing backing make these straps head and shoulders above the original Chicago Hootenanny straps, yet they have the same vibe.

This is one of the coolest accesories we have come across in a long time. Located in Chicago, home of the original Ace strap company, and having located much of the vintage material used by Ace throughout the 50's and 60's to create some of the most legendary and recognizable straps available such as the Hendrix Woodstock strap, the Duane Allman Fillmore strap and many others. Souldier strap has reintroduced the Hootenanny strap with many vintage materials available, better hardware than the originals, seatbelt webbing for backing so they gilde over your shirt and glove leather ends. These are straps with history, quality *and* comfort.
