Free Modification Upon Request - If you purchase an EWS Wah Board along with one of our highly recommended Vox V846-HW wah pedals and wish to have an option for external power, we will mail your board to you with a small groove cleanly filed at the top, left-side edge of the board so that a 1-Spot 9V battery clip adapter cab be cleanly routed between the wah housing and the board. Just ask for the "clip adapter mod" in the "Notes To Merchant" field at checkout or follow up with an email request for this mod after you've placed your order.

How It Works

Because of a Wah Pedal's rubber feet, it has always been difficult to mount then securely to a pedal board.

The age old method of removing the rubber feet, reinstalling the round head screws without the feet and then placing Velcro over the screws *works*....I've done it for years as have most players...... but you typically end up with a slightly wobbly pedal where you really need a very fixed and secure feel.

There is no need to modify the Wah and the mounting method is simple. It mounts directly on top of the original bottom panel. Recessed screw holes provide a smooth surface for mounting. Now there's nothing protruding, rubber feet or screws, to get in the way of the wah adhering solidly to the pedal board.

This is also a great way to preserve the original condition of your wah pedals bottom plate to help retain resale value or, in the case of the Vox V846-HW, potential collectible value

Installation Couldn't Be Easier

STEP1: Remove the rubber feet from the Wah and place the screws aside.

STEP2: Place the Wah Board Special over the bottom panel and replace the screws through the recessed holes in the Wah Board. Now you have a perfectly flush bottom to your wah pedal. After you have adhered the Velcro on the plate it is ready to be set on the pedal board.
