Stu,

Just wanted to say “thanks” for recommending the Port City “Twelve”.  I received it a couple of days ago and I couldn’t be happier!  Like many of your customers, I have moved from playing out at clubs to playing mostly at church.  For guys like me, we are always looking for great tone at low, low volumes.  If you think sound techs at clubs are insane about volume levels, you should try playing at most churches! Even my wonderful 18 watt Maz Jr. is right on the verge of being too loud. And somehow the 5 and 6 watt amps just don’t seem to deliver the goods. But I have to tell you that the Port City “Twelve” is exactly what I have been looking for.  The clean tone is amazingly clear with great headroom and handles pedals with ease.  Turn it up and you get the most wonderfully smooth, creamy gain tones all at incredibly low volumes.  Needless to say I am thrilled with this amp and would encourage you to let all your guys who are church players or who are just wanting to once and for all solve the “too much volume” problem to check out the Port City “Twelve”. Without doubt our sound guy is going to be asking me to turn up my volume.  Simply amazing and should vault to the top of your “must haves” list!

Dear Stuart,

I have received the guitar , no problems , all is OK.

Once again a marvellous guitar and a splendid work of Mr Collings. He makes quite simply best "Les Paul".
This guitar seems lighter because of its form worked again.
The stringed-instrument trade is a wonder ,no imperfection ,very beautiful head ,very beautiful knobs.
The neck is a pleasure to play .
About the sound :
I own two Le Paul original and two Historic Collection.I have just put on sale the two Historic and can be one of my original which has a pretty table but not the sound.
Why this so fast decision because it is enough to connect this guitar to understand.
You know that I possede around hundred guitars and about fifteen amplifiers, I can test and make comparisons easily.
I know now that my next guitar purchase will be a Collings I-35 Deluxe the next year.
I thank you very much for having found me this Collings City Limits Deluxe and the Collings 290.
I thank you for your consultings and your kindness.

Best regards
Gerard B., Le Bourg France
